My name is Garry Holland and I own and run EELS, European Englsih Language School, and I am based in the Alicante region of Spain.
Before coming over to Spain I owned and ran WELS, Westbourne English Language School, which I owned for 8.5 years before selling it. Over this period of time I developed it from a classroom in my house to a school with 8 classrooms and around 100 students worldwide in 6 years. This was mainly due to recommendations. Our motto has remained the same in both schools. " LEARNING SHOULD BE ENJOYABLE "
Over in Spain we do slightly different classes, as we teach special high intensive courses for business people over a 2-3 week period on a 1-1 basis. Also high intensive courses, for the same period of time, for people who are just about to take their Cambridge examinations, business and general. We also are able to teach small classes up to 4 students at a time.
As we are a small school we are a lot more flexible and can adapt the courses and their length to suit the students requirements. But you will certainly find that it is definitely not a holiday.
Since coming over here I have continued to work with a German seating and headrest globalised company, who I have worked with now for about 12 years.
The advantage of coming to Spain is that you're situated in an area where the majority of the people are British, around 75%, and that you will have the same teacher throughout your course, to enable you to get the most out of it.
The accommodation is also run by an English family, where you have your own en-suite and have a choice between a full English breakfast or a continental one. They also cater for any special food needs.
For more information you can contact me on info@eels-sp.com or on 0034 618 048 532 or by looking at the website www.eels-sp.com
We look forward to hearing from all interested parties and hopefully see you over here in sunny Spain.
